In the ancient city of Luoyang, China, a clever boy named Wei loved visiting the Imperial Garden, filled with statues, fountains, and colourful lanterns. But this was no ordinary garden, it was said to be a Puzzle Palace, where objects moved mysteriously overnight!
One evening, Wei met a wise old gardener who revealed the truth: "The Puzzle Palace is a test of memory and focus. Each night, I rearrange the objects, only those with sharp eyes can put them back in their original places." Excited, Wei returned the next morning and found the garden had changed:
The stone turtle had moved to the fountain. The dragon statue now faced west instead of east. The flower pots were lined up in a new pattern. Wei studied the garden carefully, remembering where everything had been. Slowly, he moved each item back to its rightful place. When he finished, the gardener smiled and said, "You have the memory of a great scholar, and the patience of a master!"
From that day on, Wei became known as the Guardian of the Puzzle Palace, teaching others how to sharpen their minds through observation and memory.
